How long does UPS Ground take to get my package to me?
This map can give you a good general idea of transit times. All items are shipped F.O.B. in Hickory, so you can get exact times by visiting www.ups.com and using 28601 as the origin zip code. Please note: UPS counts only business days (M-F). No Saturday deliveries. All orders placed before noon Eastern time M-F will ship within one business day.


Can I order from outside the United States?
Certainly, but we ask that you e-mail or call us during our normal business hours if you need shipping fee estimates and other technical details that must be arranged per each individual sale. Shipping costs will not be configured into your online checkout. It will be added when your order is processed. Unless you specify otherwise, we will ship all international orders via DHL.

What if the size I ordered does not fit?
If you find that you need another size, call immediately for a Return Authorization number. Do not remove any tags or labels. Only garments in new and original condition may be returned. Return them via the shipper of your choice (we suggest insuring the package for your own protection). Complete return instructions are also printed on the back of your invoice.

How do I make a return?


RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

  • All requests for return must be made within 5 days of receipt. E-mail us or call 828-327-2644 from 9am-6pm EST M-F for a Return Authorization number.

  • All products returned must be in clean and original sellable condition with all tags and labels still attached. Items received without tags are subject to a 15% restocking fee. We reserve the right to refuse a return/exchange that is not in sellable condition.

  • Fill out a return/exchange form. Include a copy of the invoice with your return. Please keep track of your return number should you have questions about your return/exchange. All exchanges and returns are processed and tracked by your Return Authorization number. If you need to check on a return, please give us your Return Authorization number when you call. Keep your credit card receipt. Retain a copy of the invoice for your records.

  • Return the product prepaid with the shipper of your choice- we suggest UPS or US Mail. We also recommend insuring the package for your protection. Keep your UPS or Postal receipt until you receive your replacement/refund. Fast Company is not responsible for items lost or damaged in route back to us.

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, but you will not be charged for UPS Ground from us to you for one exchange.

Can I special-order other sizes?
Sorry, because of production issues from patterns to cutting ability of the machinery, we do NOT do custom orders.

Why do all your Men's jackets start their sizes at Medium?
We have offered Small sizes in the past, but the demand was so, well, small that we did not find it economically feasible to keep them in the line-up. Our Draggin' Jacket is offered in Small.

Can I get larger than an XXL jacket?
Again, there is not enough demand to make it possible for us to produce and stock them at this time. Our Draggin' Jacket is available up to a 5XL.

Do you offer any special discounts?
We offer our products to MSF instructors at a reduced cost. We require a valid instructor ID number, and limit the sales to items for that individual only. All MSF discount orders must be placed by phone as there is no provision for this in our online ordering system.

Can I order factory seconds?
We do sell our seconds at our retail store in Hickory, NC and at our booth at various rallies and races. We do not sell these in any other way, because we want the buyer to see the actual flaw and accept it for what it is. Our seconds have cosmetic flaws only; if the safety parameters are compromised, we will not sell the garment.

Do your jackets also contain Kevlar®?
Our Draggin' Jacket and Nomad jacket have Kevlar® in the arms and shoulders. At this time, none of our leather jackets contain Kevlar®. The armor pads included with our leather jackets are of multi-layer foam construction; however, they may be upgraded with our Draggin' Armor.

What does CE-approved armor mean?
Our Draggin’ Armor is made for us in England, and it must meet the stringent safety requirements of the European Community. This CE certification is performed by an independent testing laboratory- the process is similar to the Snell rating we often see on helmets in the United States.

Can I install the armor in my jeans, jacket, or shirt permanently?
No. If you have our optional Draggin’ Armor installed in your garment, be sure to remove the armor pads before washing.

What sort of special care is needed for Draggin' Jeans?
Please read and follow the care instructions on the inside label of your garment. In general, Draggin' Jeans may be washed just like your regular jeans. Close zipper and button before laundering. We recommend a shorter wash cycle with less detergent and cool water to prevent unnecessary wear during washing. NEVER use any form of bleach (including detergents which contain bleach or color safe bleach) with any Kevlar® product. Tumble dry on warm or low setting (not hot). As with any cotton denim, we recommend that you should not over-dry the garment, as this could cause shrinkage.

What sort of special care is needed for my Draggin' Shirt?
In addition to the care instructions on the inside label, we also recommend closing the Velcro® tabs and turning the garment inside-out before washing. NEVER use any form of bleach (including detergents which contain bleach or color safe bleach) with any Kevlar® product. For the very best results, we recommend hand washing or machine wash in cool water with the Draggin' Shirt in a mesh laundry bag. Tumble-dry on cool cycle or drip-dry on a plastic hanger.
